Day 1 drives from Ahmedabad to Sasan Gir (400 km). Day 2 starts with the safari, then moves to Junagadh (about 60 km). Day 3 is Girnar and Uparkot in the morning, then back to Ahmedabad (330 km). About 790 km, billed as 900 km: ₹11,700 in a sedan at public rates. Agent rates on request.

What happens on each day?
One long drive in, a safari morning, and a mountain morning before the drive back.

Ahmedabad to Sasan Gir
An early start from Ahmedabad, about 7.5 hours to Sasan Gir. An evening at the resort; the driver checks the safari reporting time for the next morning.
- Day2
Gir safari, then Junagadh
The guests board the forest department's safari vehicle at the gate (our car waits). After the safari, an optional stop at the Devalia interpretation zone, then the drive to Junagadh.
- Day3
Girnar, Uparkot, home
The Girnar ropeway early, before the queues; Uparkot fort and the Mahabat Maqbara if time allows. Then the drive to Ahmedabad and the drop.
Private cars do not drive inside the safari routes; guests use the forest department's vehicles. Our driver waits at the gate.

What does the tour cost at our public rates?
Three days are billed at the 300 km a day minimum, 900 km, plus ₹900 driver allowance: ₹11,700 in a sedan, ₹12,600 in an Ertiga, ₹17,100 in an Innova Crysta. Agencies get a lower agent rate on request.

Which car fits your group?
A sedan takes 4 guests, an Ertiga 6 and an Innova Crysta 7. With big suitcases on a multi-day tour, plan one seat less than the maximum. Larger groups travel in two cars or in our own Tempo Travellers and buses, quoted on call.

Planning notes
What should you plan around?
The safari permit decides the whole tour: book it first, then the hotels, then the car.
- Permits first: Gir safari permits are limited and sold online by the forest department for fixed time slots. Fix the slot, then send us the dates.
- Monsoon closure: the safari routes close for the monsoon months every year; check the season before you sell the tour. Devalia may stay open.
- Morning slot: the first safari slot starts around sunrise, which is why the guests sleep at Sasan Gir, not at Junagadh.
- Girnar ropeway: queues grow through the morning and the ropeway can stop in strong wind; go early and keep a back-up plan for Uparkot and the Junagadh museum.

What are the terms for agencies?
Agent rates on request, a GST invoice in your agency's name, payment by bank transfer or after the trip, a monthly invoice with credit for regular agencies, and a part-advance that may be agreed for long tours.

How much is a 3-day Gir and Girnar tour by car?

Can our car drive inside Gir National Park?
No. Safaris run in the forest department's own vehicles with a guide. Our car takes the guests to the gate and waits.
Do you book the Gir safari permit?
No. The agency or the guests book it online. Send us the slot and we plan the drive around it.
Can the tour run in the monsoon?
The car can, but the Gir safari routes close for the monsoon each year. Check the season before you sell the tour.
Can we start from Rajkot instead of Ahmedabad?
Yes. A Rajkot start shortens the drive; tell us the start point and we work out the kilometres.
Is Somnath possible on the same tour?
Yes, with one more day: Somnath is about 45 km from Sasan Gir.
