Agent rates, billing and payment: how agencies pay us

Travel agencies get agent rates below our public rates, a GST invoice in the agency's name, and a choice of ways to pay: bank transfer, cash or UPI after the trip, or a monthly invoice with credit once you book with us regularly. Here is how each part works.

How do travel agencies pay Shiv Shakti?

Agencies get agent rates, given on request, below our public per-km rates. You pay after the trip by bank transfer, cash or UPI, against a GST invoice in your agency's name. Agencies that book regularly get a monthly invoice with a credit period agreed with them. For long multi-day tours, a part-advance may be agreed.

What are the public rates, and how do agent rates compare?

Our public rates are on every page of this site. Agent rates are lower and given to agencies on request; we do not publish them.

Multi-day tours: at least 300 km a day plus ₹300 a day driver allowance. Tolls, parking and state tax at actual cost; 20% for driving between 10 PM and 6 AM.

Ways to pay

Which ways can agencies pay?

Pick the way that suits each booking; regular agencies usually move to the monthly invoice.

After the trip

For transfers and short tours: no advance. Pay when the trip is done.

Bank transfer

To our business account against the GST invoice. The details come with the invoice.

UPI or cash

UPI or cash after the trip, for agencies that prefer it. Card payments are not offered.

Monthly invoice

Regular agencies get one invoice a month for all trips, with a credit period agreed with the agency.

Part-advance, long tours

For long multi-day tours, a part-advance may be agreed before the tour; the rest after.

GST invoice

Every trip is invoiced to your agency with GST. We are GST and MSME registered.

The invoice

What does the invoice show?

Everything you need to bill your own customer.

  • Your agency's name and GST details, if you give them to us.
  • Trip details: dates, route, car, kilometres from the trip meter, and the days.
  • The rate: your agent rate, the driver allowance, and any night charge.
  • Extras at actual cost: tolls, parking and state tax, with the receipts you need.
  • Monthly invoices list every trip of the month on one invoice.

We never send the invoice, or any price, to your guests.

Monthly credit

How does an agency get a monthly invoice with credit?

Book a few trips first; then ask.

  1. Book with us. Send a few bookings and pay per trip.
  2. Ask for a monthly account. Tell us roughly how many trips you send a month.
  3. Agree the terms. We agree the credit period and the billing date with your agency.
  4. One invoice a month. All trips of the month on one GST invoice, paid by bank transfer within the agreed period.

Plan a price

How do you estimate a tour before asking for the agent rate?

Use the public rates to estimate: kilometres or 300 a day, whichever is more, times the rate, plus ₹300 a day. A 3-day tour of up to 900 km is ₹11,700 in a sedan at public rates; your agent rate is lower.

Why are agent rates not published?

Agent rates depend on the trips and the volume an agency sends, so we give them on request. The public rates on the site are for planning.

Do agencies pay in advance?

Not for transfers and short trips. For long multi-day tours, a part-advance may be agreed.

How long is the credit period?

It is agreed with each agency when the monthly account is set up.

Do you accept card payments?

No. Bank transfer, UPI or cash.

Do you give a GST invoice?

Yes, on every trip, in your agency's name.

Are tolls and state tax included in the rate?

No. Tolls, parking and state tax are added at actual cost.
