How is a multi-day tour with a car and driver charged?
Kilometres times the per-km rate, with at least 300 km counted for each day, plus ₹300 a day driver allowance. Tolls, parking and state tax are added at actual cost, and driving between 10 PM and 6 AM adds 20%. The driver's night stay is arranged by your agency or the hotel. Agencies get agent rates below the public per-km rates, on request.

How does the 300 km minimum work in practice?
When the route is shorter than 300 km a day, the minimum applies; when it is longer, the actual kilometres are billed.

Driver's stay
Who arranges the driver's night stay?
Your agency or the guests' hotel. The ₹300 a day driver allowance covers his food, not his room.
Many hotels on the tourist circuits in Gujarat have rooms or dormitories for drivers, often free or at a small charge. When you book the guests' hotel, ask for the driver's room at the same time. Where the hotel has none, your agency arranges a room nearby. Please tell us what has been arranged for each night when you confirm the tour.

What are the terms for agencies?
Agent rates on request, a GST invoice in your agency's name, payment by bank transfer or after the trip, a monthly invoice with credit for regular agencies, and a part-advance that may be agreed for long tours.

What is the minimum kilometres per day on a tour?
