What does a local trip near the SMG plant cost?
Most local trips around the SMG plant, to Becharaji town, Vithalapur, Modhera, Jotana, Chanasma or Dasada, cost the minimum fare per booking: ₹1,000 in a sedan, ₹1,100 in an Ertiga, ₹1,500 in an Innova Crysta. Waiting is free for 30 minutes, then ₹100 an hour.
The minimum fare exists because sending a car and a driver for a short run costs nearly as much as a longer one. The upside is a price you can predict: for a run inside the area around the plant, your admin desk can approve the trip without asking for a quote each time.
Return trips are the better deal for errands. A run to Becharaji town and back with half an hour of waiting usually stays at the minimum fare; longer waits are charged at ₹100 an hour, or book a full-day car if the errands fill the day.
