One gate per route, or several gates per route?
If many staff use the same gate, give that gate its own route. If a few staff use each of several gates, one route can drop at each in turn.
| Pattern | Plan |
|---|---|
| Large group at one gate | Route dedicated to that gate |
| Small groups at several gates | One route, drops in a fixed order |
| Visitors | Separate car to the visitor gate |
How is the drop order set?
Gates are ordered along the road so the vehicle does not double back, and the drop time at the last gate is set before that group's shift starts.
What about gate entry procedures?
Tell us any rules for vehicles at your gates (where to stop, which gate visitors use) and drivers on your routes follow them.
