About Sarkhej Roza
Sarkhej Roza is a 15th-century mosque-and-mausoleum complex built for the Sufi saint Ahmed Khattu Ganj Baksh, later expanded with tombs for Gujarat Sultanate royalty. Its stepped tank and pavilions are said to have influenced later Mughal architecture, and the complex is sometimes described as a forerunner to Fatehpur Sikri.
