Ahmedabad to Saputara distance and route
The drive takes about 7.5 hours in normal traffic, mostly along the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway (NE1), NH 48 via Surat, then the state highway via Vyara.
- Vadodara and Surat are the main stops before the final hill climb.
- Saputara is Gujarat’s only hill station, in the Dang district near the Maharashtra border.
- The last stretch climbs through forested Sahyadri hillside roads.
