Can you take a team from the plant on an outing or offsite?
Yes. Shiv Shakti Tours & Travels carries teams from units near the SMG plant on day trips and offsites, to places such as Modhera (about 25 km), Patan (about 50 km), Ambaji (about 170 km) or Udaipur (about 310 km). Cars follow the per-km rates with a 300 km a day minimum; groups go in our own Tempo Travellers or buses, quoted on call.
The simplest outing is the closest one. The Sun Temple at Modhera is about 25 km from the plant and pairs well with the stepwell at Patan for a full day. Longer trips such as Ambaji or Udaipur work better as a full day or an overnight offsite, and the group stays together in one vehicle all the way.
