SHIV SHAKTITOURS & TRAVELS

Customer question · Safety & tracking

How do you manage driver fatigue and working-hour considerations?

Short answer

Rest between duties, an hours limit, and tired drivers replaced.

Shiv Shakti Tours & Travels manages driver fatigue in three ways: drivers rest between duties, each driver works within a daily driving-hours limit, and a driver who is tired is replaced rather than sent out. Before each shift, the driver also checks the car: tyres, fuel, lights and anything that looks wrong. Night shifts and long outstation runs are planned around these rules.

How is tiredness kept off the road?

By planning: duties are spread so drivers rest between them and stay within the daily hours limit. On the day, a driver who is not fit to drive tells the office and another driver takes the route.

See driver absence.

What about night shifts and long drives?

Night routes are given to rested drivers, and long outstation days are planned within the hours limit. For a very long day, ask us how it will be planned, for example with an overnight stop.
