What about maintenance shutdowns?

During a shutdown, maintenance teams and contractors often work long or unusual hours, sometimes from other locations. Send the team list, dates and timings, and we plan vehicles for the shutdown period only.

Shutdown teams can include outside engineers arriving by air or rail; see transport for project teams.

Which holiday dates are busiest?

Navratri, Diwali week and the Poonam fairs at the Bahucharaji temple, when many people travel at once. If your plant works through them, tell us early.

Sharad Navratri 2026: 11–19 October.
Diwali 2026: Sunday 8 November.
Chaitra Navratri 2027: 7–15 April.

Do holiday trips cost more?

No. The per-km rates are the same on Sundays, holidays and festivals. The standard 20% night charge applies to driving between 10 PM and 6 AM.
