What does one way cost compared with a round trip?
On a one-way drop you pay for the distance to your destination. On a round trip you pay for the distance there and back, with at least 300 km counted for each day, plus ₹300 a day for the driver. These examples from Becharaji show the difference.

When should you choose one way, and when a round trip?
Choose one way when you are staying at the destination or coming back another way. Choose a round trip when you need the car to wait and bring you back, especially on the same day or for a short stay with sightseeing.
- One way: airport and station drops, moving to another city, joining a train or a flight home, a family visit where someone else brings you back.
- Same-day round trip: temple visits, a meeting, a hospital visit; the 300 km minimum makes short same-day trips cost more than the distance alone.
- Multi-day round trip: holidays with sightseeing, where the car and driver stay with you.
Why is a round trip billed on 300 km a day?
On a round trip the car and driver are kept for you all day and cannot take other bookings. The 300 km daily minimum covers that day. If you drive more than 300 km in a day, you pay for the actual distance.
Example: Becharaji to Ahmedabad and back is 200 km. As a same-day round trip it is billed as 300 km: 300 × ₹12 + ₹300 = ₹3,900. If you only need the drop, the one-way fare is about ₹1,200.
Can you book the return separately?
Yes. You can book a one-way drop now and a separate one-way pickup for the return, on a later date. For a long gap between the two, this usually costs less than keeping a car for every day.
