# Night-shift cabs in Sanand GIDC, home safe after 10 PM

For shifts that end or start at night, Shiv Shakti Tours & Travels sends GPS-tracked cars to Sanand plant gates and drops staff at their doors, with the driver's details sent before pickup and live location sharing. Trips between 10 PM and 6 AM carry a 20% night charge; everything else is our normal rate.

The fare column is the daytime sedan fare (₹1,000 sedan minimum). Between 10 PM and 6 AM add 20%: ₹1,200 for each of these one-off trips. Contract routes are quoted per vehicle per month.

## Can you drop employees home after a night shift in Sanand?

Yes. We run night pickups and drops for Sanand GIDC units every night of the week. Each employee gets the driver's name, phone and car number before pickup, every car is GPS tracked, and live location can be shared with family or the plant's security desk.

A night shift is where transport problems show up first. A bus that leaves at 2:10 AM does not wait for the person still signing out; a two-wheeler ride to Ahmedabad after eight hours on a line is the most dangerous part of the day; and a woman finishing at midnight should not have to walk from a highway stop. Door-to-door cars solve those three problems, and the cost is easy to predict once you know which trips fall inside the night window.

## Which of your shift changes carry the night charge?

Enter your three shift change times. The bar shows which ones fall inside 10 PM–6 AM, where the 20% night charge applies.

A common three-shift pattern changes at 6 AM, 2 PM and 10 PM. Here the 10 PM change is inside the window, and the 6 AM change sits exactly on its edge: a pickup at 5:30 AM for a 6 AM start is a night trip, so plan those pickups as night trips too. Moving a change by 30 minutes can take a whole route out of the window, which is worth knowing before you fix the timings.

## What keeps a night drop safe?

Known drivers, known cars, a tracked route and an office that answers at 3 AM. Each of these is a confirmed part of how we run, not an add-on.

## How much does a night drop cost?

Take the daytime fare and add 20% if the trip starts between 10 PM and 6 AM. For one-off bookings the ₹1,000 minimum comes first, so most single night drops from the estate cost ₹1,200 in a sedan.

## How do you book night-shift drops?

Companies set up the routes once; individuals can book a single night drop by WhatsApp the same way as any trip.

- **Send shift and headcount.** Shift end time, number of people and their drop areas.
- **Flag special needs.** Female driver, a stop on the way, or a security sign-out time.
- **Get the plan.** Vehicles, pickup order and which trips carry the night charge.
- **Nightly driver details.** Driver name, phone and car number reach the coordinator and staff before pickup.
- **Morning report.** A daily trip report by email shows every drop that night.

All the standard terms, with the night charge added to trips that start in the window.

- **Minimum fare**: Sedan ₹1,000 · Ertiga ₹1,100 · Innova Crysta ₹1,500
- **Night charge**: +20% from 10 PM to 6 AM
- **Waiting**: First 30 min free, then ₹100/hour
- **Extras**: Tolls, parking and state tax at actual cost
- **Advance**: None. Advance booking gets 10% off
- **Payment**: Cash or UPI; companies also bank transfer
- **Cancellation**: Free until the car leaves the garage
- **Outstation & full day**: 300 km a day minimum, ₹300/day driver allowance

### When does the night charge apply?

### Can a woman employee ask for a female driver?

Yes, female drivers are available on request. Mention it when the route is set up or when you book.

### Can my family see where the cab is?

Yes. Live location can be shared during the trip, and the driver's name, phone and car number are sent before pickup.

### What if the shift runs late and the cab has to wait?

The first 30 minutes of waiting are free, then ₹100 an hour. Tell the driver or our office as soon as you know, so other drops on the route are not held up.

### Do you take night drops for one person, not a company?

Yes. Anyone can book a night drop from the Sanand estates by WhatsApp or phone, with the same safety steps and the 20% night charge.
