# Accident and incident procedure: safety first, then everything else

If a Shiv Shakti Tours & Travels car carrying your Sanand staff is in an accident, the order is fixed: passengers' safety first, a replacement car sent, your company informed right away, and a written record afterwards. All our cars are commercially permitted and insured, and carry a fire extinguisher, working seat belts and a spare tyre.

- Passengers first
- Replacement car
- Company told at once

## What happens if a staff cab has an accident?

The driver and our office put passengers' safety first, a replacement car is sent to carry them on, and your company is informed right away. The incident is recorded in writing. Every car is commercially permitted and insured, and our written safety policy can be shared with your EHS team.

- **1st**: Passengers' safety
- **Right away**: Company informed
- **Insured**: Every car, commercial permit
- **Written**: Safety policy on request

Plant EHS teams usually ask two things about a transport vendor's incident procedure: is it written down, and does the company hear about an incident from the vendor before it hears from the employees? Both answers should be yes. Our procedure is short and written, and informing your company is a fixed step, not a judgement call made after the fact.

## What are the steps after an incident?

Five steps in a fixed order.

- **Make passengers safe.** Move people out of danger and get help if anyone is hurt.
- **Inform our office.** The driver calls the 24/7 line at once.
- **Inform your company.** Our office calls your coordinator right away.
- **Send a replacement car.** Passengers continue to the plant or home.
- **Record and review.** Written record; the driver's future on the route is reviewed.

## What is in every car, and what is not?

We list it exactly, so your EHS checklist matches reality.

### In every car

- Fire extinguisher
- Working seat belts
- Spare tyre with jack and tools
- GPS tracking
- Valid RC, insurance, permit, fitness and PUC

### Not claimed

- A first-aid kit is not part of our confirmed equipment
- We have no wheelchair-accessible vehicles (drivers help with boarding)

If your EHS policy requires extra equipment in vehicles, tell us before the contract and we confirm what we can provide.

## Incident questions
