# Do you charge per kilometre or offer fixed trip prices?

**Short answer:** Per kilometre, with a few fixed prices and packages.

Shiv Shakti Tours & Travels charges most trips per kilometre: ₹12/km for a sedan, ₹13/km for an Ertiga and ₹18/km for an Innova Crysta. A few prices are fixed: Becharaji to Ahmedabad Airport is ₹1,700 for a first ride in a sedan (regular ₹2,500), and monthly, hourly and half-day packages are quoted as one price.

## Key facts: per-km and fixed prices

| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| Per-km trips | City rides, full-day hire, one-way drops, round trips |
| Per-km rates | Sedan ₹12 · Ertiga ₹13 · Innova Crysta ₹18 |
| Fixed route fare | Becharaji to Ahmedabad Airport: ₹1,700 first ride in a sedan, regular ₹2,500 |
| Packages (one price) | Monthly, hourly and half-day packages, quoted on request |
| Group vehicles | Tempo Traveller and bus quoted on call |
| Always extra | Tolls, parking and state tax at actual cost |
| Outstation minimum | 300 km a day + ₹300 driver allowance |
| Fare confirmed | Before you travel, in a quote |

## Why charge per kilometre?

Per-km pricing means you pay for the distance you actually travel, at a rate you can check before you book. A short ride costs less than a long one, and there is no hidden margin in a rounded-up fixed fare.

Because the rate is published, you can work out any fare yourself: distance × rate. Our 106 route pages show the distance for each destination, so the fare for, say, Becharaji to Udaipur (310 km) is about ₹3,720 in a sedan.

## When is the price fixed?

The Becharaji to Ahmedabad Airport drop has a set price in a sedan: ₹1,700 for first-time customers and ₹2,500 after that. Monthly car rental, hourly and half-day packages, and Tempo Traveller or bus hire are quoted as one price for the agreed plan.

| Booking | How it is priced |
|---|---|
| Becharaji to Ahmedabad Airport, sedan | Fixed: ₹1,700 first ride, ₹2,500 regular; tolls, parking and night charge extra |
| Monthly car with driver | Monthly package, quoted for your routine |
| Hourly or half-day local hire | Package price, quoted on request |
| Tempo Traveller or bus | Quoted on call for the group and route |
| Everything else | Per km: distance × rate |

## Do you know the fare before the trip?

Yes. When you book, we confirm the rate, the expected distance and what is extra, so you know the fare before you travel. It changes only if the trip changes: extra stops, more kilometres, extra waiting or night driving.

## Follow-up questions

**Can you give me a fixed price for an outstation trip?** We quote the expected fare from the distance before you travel. It changes only if the route or timing changes.

**Is the ₹1,700 airport fare for Ertiga or Innova too?** No. It is for a sedan. Ertiga and Innova Crysta fares on this route are quoted on call.

**Are tolls part of the fixed airport fare?** No. Tolls, parking and the 20% night charge are extra.

**Are company contracts per km or fixed?** Monthly packages are quoted as one price for the agreed plan; ask us for a quote for your routes.
